Privacy Policy
Daily Counter is designed as a private habit tracker. Your habits, daily marks, goals, and analytics are stored locally on your device.
Short Version
We do not sell your data. We do not track you across other apps. In the current version, Daily Counter does not require an account and does not upload your habit data to our servers.
Information Stored by the App
Daily Counter may store the following information locally on your device:
- Habit names that you create.
- Habit difficulty levels.
- Optional target dates for habits.
- Daily completion marks.
- Analytics derived from your habits and daily marks.
Local Storage
The app stores habit data using local device storage. This allows the app to remember your habits and analytics between launches.
If you delete the app, your locally stored Daily Counter data may also be deleted from the device.
Data We Do Not Collect
In the current version of Daily Counter, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or account credentials.
- Precise location data.
- Health records or medical information.
- Advertising identifiers.
- Third-party analytics events.
Support Email
If you contact support from the app, your email app may send us your email address, message content, and any information you choose to include. We use that information only to respond to your request.
App Store Reviews
The app may use Apple's StoreKit review prompt when you choose to rate or review the app. Apple controls that experience. We do not receive private App Store account information from this prompt.
Children's Privacy
Daily Counter is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app currently stores habit data locally and does not require accounts, users should avoid entering sensitive personal information as habit names or notes.
Security
We aim to keep the app simple and private by keeping your habit data on your device. No method of local storage or electronic processing is perfect, so you should avoid entering highly sensitive information into habit names.
Changes to This Policy
If Daily Counter adds accounts, cloud sync, third-party analytics, subscriptions, or other online services, this Privacy Policy should be updated to explain those changes before release.
